Camping can be an incredible (and inexpensive!) adventure with kids, but not practical year-round if you live in an overly hot or cold climate. Or maybe you’re not up for camping with small children yet but they love playing with camping playsets like this one which is one of our favorite starter sets for little ones.

There are 2 ways you can use these free camping travel playset printables. One is by cutting out the pieces included and attaching them to simple magnetic sheets like the ones we purchased here. Simple place them on the magnet sheet and cut as desired!
We bought a cheap $1 metal cookie sheet so that we could take our magnetic play set with us when we traveled in the car! I laminated the background piece so it would last longer and sprayed a quick coat of sealer on the magnets for further protection.
In the printable camping playset you’ll also notice characters with a brown rectangle at the bottom. Cut the entire thing out as one piece and tape the ends of the rectangle together in a circle like the ones in our photo above. 3D Camping Play!
You can choose to laminate them if you want your hard work of cutting out these woodsy friends to last longer! At home I simply use a small personal laminator that usually cost under $20 to preserve our travel printable play sets and games.
